Sean A. Mulvihill

We will talk about how improv techniques can be used in daily life for conflict resolution.

Act Social is directed/produced by Sean A. Mulvihill. A theatre/film actor, he has performed professionally on stage and screen in the United States, Europe, and Asia, and his work has been seen on such outlets as Amazon Prime, Sony Playstation, and RAI Italia.Sean is the Artistic Director of the Exuberant Theatre Company, which has a long-running improv comedy show at the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City. In 2005, his breakout project was creating and acting in Living Luminaries: On the Serious Business of Happiness, a docu-drama starring Eckhart Tolle, author of The Power of Now. Sean has also performed onstage for the Venetian Casino Macau, the Italian National Tour of Action Theatre (Torino, Italy), and various regional theatres in the United States. He holds a Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) in Physical Theatre from Acccademia dell’Arte in Italy and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre (Acting) from the University of Southern California.

Virtual Reality can also foster healthy competition, which can help to unlock potential and enter the metaverse through film/video-based therapy and Virtual Reality.

Nicole Lazzaro, the founder (in 1992) and President of XEODesign, Inc., has twenty years of expertise in Player Experience Design (P.X.D.) for mass-market entertainment products. Widely recognized as one of the top women working in video games and a pioneering, leading figure in mobile and social games, Fast Company considers Nicole one of the 100 most influential women in high tech, and Gamasutra voted her one of the Top 20 women working in video games. Nicole has spoken at the U.S. State Department, and has been cited by Wired, Fast Company, A.B.C. News, CNN, C.N.E.T., The Hollywood Reporter, and Red Herring. She has improved over 100 million player experiences and has worked with E.A., Ubisoft, D.I.C.E., Lucas Arts, Disney, PlayFirst, The Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon on such popular franchises as three of the Myst series, Diner Dash, Fusion Fall, Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, Jeopardy Online, as well as creativity coaching for the designers of The Sims.

Leora Gaster,

Leora will speak about her mind-body connection and how her program can help you in your life immediately with simple exercises you can do at home.

Leora Gaster, Founder, and Creative Director, BSc, Stanford University, Trainer NLP, Master Trainer Feldenkrais/MBS, Kodokan Judo instructor, has been teaching internationally and developing the curriculum for Mind-Body Studies for over 40 years. Combining her early life under the guidance of Dr. Feldenkrais with a degree in Human Biology from Stanford University, Martial Arts in Japan, NLP with it’s founders, Hypnosis with Milton Erickson and more, she continues to synthesize this vast body of knowledge, shaping it to be user friendly and practical in for array and multitude of diverse applications.

David Israelian

 

David Israelian will speak about his company in building sustainable jobs for the community.

Is the founder and CEO of Peer Mental Health and co-founder and CTO of Painted Brain. He’s developed Painted Brain’s online face and many of its programs including the CodiePie Coding Workshop. He’s the CEO and founder of CodiePie, a tech company that specializes in CMS and Custom Plugin Development, as well as the MarQ Hub for cloud apps. His passion for social justice and innovation in technology has led him to bridge CodiePie and Painted Brain through the Painted Brain Academy, providing coding and computer literacy workshops, focused on strength development, purpose, and productivity as one sector of their supportive recovery program.

Dr. Elyn Saks

 

Dr. Elyn Saks will speak about her involvement with Dr. Cohen’s proposal to those suffering from trauma who may need psychiatric advanced directives called PADS and how it might help you and or your loved one suffering from mental health challenges.

Elyn Saks is Orrin B. Evans Distinguished Professor of Law, Professor of Psychology, and Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences at the USC Gould School of Law; Director of the Saks Institute for Mental Health Law, Policy, and Ethics; Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at the UC San Diego, School of Medicine; and Faculty at the New Center for Psychoanalysis. She served as USC Gould’s associate dean for research from 2005-2010 and taught at the Keck School of Medicine. Saks received her JD from Yale Law School and a Ph.D. in Psychoanalytic Science from the New Center for Psychoanalysis. She was also awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree (LLD, Hon) from Pepperdine University.

  • This event is about bringing home virtual reality (VR)  in the economic Times of War during the Ukrainian war against Russia and how to help our community.
  • In order to fight trauma at home and abroad, we are looking at a film possibility of a movie called “Brothers at War” by the Gary Sinise Foundation.
  • to support the balance in Europe economically we need businesses to compete.

 

  • The war is about the oil and one of the alternative fuels is hydrogen Toyota has a company called the Toyota Mirai that uses Hydrogen.
  • The Toyota Mirai is used on Ridesharing vehicles partnered with Lyft which has a contract with Care and Medi-Cal( which pays for SB 803) A law that allows peers with mental health challenges to bill off of Medi-Cal for their services. 
  • The advertising could then be used to support The USC IGM Art Gallery in one of the fundraisers.
  • We have a Kickstarter that could actually be used to fund this idea.
  • We would like to get support through churches and faith-based organizations.
  • Ruth Sharon uses churches and synagogues in her faith-based musical.
  • We bring in people from the Czech Republic to do movies as therapy.
  • We bring in people from Spain to do movies for therapeutic purposes.
  • The event will be both in-person and virtual.
  • We could put up booths for people to get tablets and phones.
  • Cricket has agreed to a booth.
  • A tablet company in Lancaster has agreed to a booth.
  • Gilda has agreed to support us to get jobs for peers selling tablets.
  • People can come in and buy tablets or get them for free.
  • Money from fundraisers could also go to pay for tablets.
  • USC can give free covid tests at a booth.
  • We want to give popcorn and water.
  • It would help show the staff how their treatment is going
  • Would coordinate with the primary care
  • Would coordinate with the psychiatrist
  • Would coordinate with the psychologist.
  • They can get up to three recommendations for psychologists paid for her by their medicare.
  • VR and or AR could improve recreational activities.

Dr. Cohen is clinically trained as a researcher from Pacifica Graduate Institute and Walden University. He has experience as a film/video editor, which includes “A” list work in Hollywood with significant people in the film world. He is a Media Psychologist with Peer Mental Health and staff with the Kolnoam school of video therapy.
